Confidential Virtual Care
Supporting Your Journey Toward Wellness
I’m Brendette Shannon, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 13 years of experience as a therapist. Every service I offer is grounded in clinical evidence and shaped around your individual needs. My practice is fully virtual, providing a safe and confidential space where healing and growth can happen on your terms.
Individual Therapy for Children and Adults
I offer personalized, one-on-one therapy sessions for children and adults designed to help you understand yourself more deeply, address what’s keeping you stuck, and build the skills to move forward. I draw on CBT, DBT, trauma-informed approaches, and grief-focused models — individualizing my approach to your specific goals and presentation.
Who I work with: Children and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, or personality-related challenges.
Trauma-Focused Therapy
As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), I bring specialized training to trauma treatment. My approach is paced, relational, and always grounded in your sense of safety and readiness. I don’t rush this work — because healing from trauma takes the time it takes.
Who I work with: Children and adults processing past or recent trauma, PTSD, or the lingering effects of adverse experiences.
Grief & Bereavement Therapy
Grief is not a problem to be solved — it is a human experience to be honored. I provide structured, compassionate support for those navigating loss of any kind, using evidence-based grief frameworks to help you process, integrate, and find a meaningful way forward.
Who I work with: Children and adults experiencing bereavement, anticipatory grief, complicated grief, or significant loss.
Anxiety Treatment
I hold advanced certification in anxiety disorders and offer targeted, effective treatment for the full spectrum of anxiety presentations — from generalized anxiety to panic, social anxiety, and beyond. You don’t have to keep managing this alone.
Who I work with: Children and adults whose anxiety is interfering with relationships, school, work, or quality of life.
ADHD, Mood Disorders & Stress
I work with children and adults navigating ADHD, mood disorders, and the weight of chronic stress. Whether you’re managing attention and focus challenges, navigating shifts in mood, or feeling overwhelmed by the demands of daily life, I bring a structured, compassionate, and individualized approach to help you find your footing and move forward.
Who I work with: Children and adults managing ADHD, mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, or stress related to work, family, relationships, or life transitions.
